American GM Fabiano Caruana defeated Uzbek GM Javokhir Sindarov in the 11th round of the GCT Super Rapid & Blitz Poland 2026. The Blitz game ended in 56 moves.

Javokhir Sindarov blundered a rook checkmate on move 56. Javokhir had 5 seconds left, and Caruana checkmated him. Fabiano played the game with 88.1 accuracy, while Javokhir’s was 83.3. Caruana and Sindarov hold 3rd and 9th place in the overall standings respectively, at the time of the 18th round.

Grand Chess Tour Super Rapid & Blitz Poland 2026 takes place in Warsaw from May 5 to 10. Reigning World Champion Gukesh Dommaraju defeated Sindarov in the Rapid part on May 6.
