FIDE announced a three-year partnership with Salesforce on September 10. The contract became the largest in FIDE’s history.

Salesforce became the Title Sponsor of the FIDE World Championship Matches 2026-28. The company became the official AI partner of the FIDE World Chess Championship and FIDE Rankings. The Matches and Rankings will be presented as the Salesforce FIDE World Chess Championships and Salesforce FIDE Rankings.

The collaboration will utilize Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 platform. The platform will host the Chess Concierge Agent virtual assistant and the ELO Player Rating Agent live rating system.

The Chess Concierge Agent will answer user questions about ratings, rules, tournaments, and more. The ELO Player Rating Agent will allow users to look up information about any FIDE player, including historic trends, current standings, insights into results, predictions, and more.

Salesforce is a global software company that provides cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. It helps businesses manage their sales, marketing, customer service, and e-commerce operations on a single platform. Salesforce’s current market capitalization is approximately 200.75 billion USD.
