“I’m really looking forward to playing here in January.

We need to organize attractive chess tournaments for fans, and this will certainly be one of them. We want the best players competing in a fast-paced yet entertaining way.

For me, chess is the most interesting sport in the world, and I think it’s good for children.”

The MOVE Cup is a new elite chess tournament for the world’s best Grandmasters. The competition aims to be held regularly, have a big prize fund, and be spectator-friendly. The inaugural edition of the event is scheduled to run from January 18 to 20. The first edition will feature a €300,000 prize fund.

The MOVE Cup is the first event organized by the MOVE Foundation. The event is powered by sportsbook BETBY. Organizers are keeping the tournament venue a secret. They stated that it will be “an iconic location in the city” of Barcelona.
