Ten GMs will compete at the 3rd Uzchess Cup Masters in Tashkent, June 7–15. The field features four Uzbek players led by world top-10 GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov, alongside GM Ian Nepomniachtchi and GM Hans Niemann fresh from their Belgrade match.
GM Nikolas Theodorou enters the event on the back of his Challengers 2025 title. GM Arjun Erigaisi targets a return to the 2800 rating mark. GM Shakhriyar Mamedyarov returns to competitive play after a coaching stint. GM Vidit is replacing GM Aravindh Chithambaram, who accoridng to the offical website was initially invited.

GM Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu won the 2025 Uzchess Cup Masters in Tashkent, defeating GM Javokhir Sindarov and GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov in tiebreaks after a three-way tie. The Indian GM took $20,000 in prize money. GM Nikolas Theodorou won the Challengers section of the same event.
