American GM Hans Moke Niemann will play two Classical exhibition matches — with and Russian GM Ian Nepomniachtchi and Dutch GM Jorden Van Foreest — in Belgrade, Serbia.

Matches with Jorden and Ian will take place from May 24 to 26 and from May 29 to June 1 respectively. Niemann will play 6 Classical games with Foreest and 8 with Nepomniachtchi. Both matches feature a 60+30 time control. Hans’s offer in the match with Ian is $100,000, where $50,000 will be donated to charity.

American GM Hans Moke Niemann (2728) is World’s No. 20 and popular Twitch streamer known for his rapid rise in FIDE rankings and his central role in a major 2022 cheating scandal. Russian GM Ian Nepomniachtchi is Russia’s No. 1 and two times Candidates winner. Dutch GM Jorden Van Foreest is Netherlands’s No. 2 and Tata Steel Masters winner in 2021.
