The 6th and final day of the FIDE World University Team Championship 2026 in Kazakhstan has concluded. Ural State Mining University defeated Saint Louis University in the Final with a score of 2.5-1.5 in both matches.
In the Third-place match, KNUS and The University of Texas at Dallas drew the first two matches with an overall score of 4-4. In the Tiebreak, the teams drew 2-2. GM Kazybek Nogerbek defeated GM Aditya Samant in a ‘Sudden Death’, and KNUS secured 3rd place.
