The team landed 5 hours ago at Samarkand airport. The team still haven’t been allotted rooms, with absolutely no clarity on when it’ll be allotted.

The 46th Chess Olympiad runs in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from September 15 to 27, 2026. Inia, last year winners, are represented by Gukesh D, Arjun Erigaisi, Praggnanandhaa R, Nihal Sarin, and Vidit Gujrathi.
