World's No. 4“Sometimes when I feel a little bit stressed, I don’t want to play video games. I’m trying to always play Bullet.
Of course, it’s nice to play Bullet on Lichess. And my idea is to always try to keep a safe 3300 rating, and I’m fighting for this.
1+0 always helps to see small tactics. But I would not recommend playing it at an amateur level. But when you become a really strong chess player, then it can help you to see small tactics very fast.”
Javokhir Sindarov gave this interview after his victory at the Clutch Chess: Champions Showdown 2026. Before the start of the tournament, Sindarov played around 30 Bullet games on Lichess. Javokhir lost 4 games, drew 2, and won the remaining games. Javokhir earned $168,000 for the victory at Clutch Chess.
