The Esports Foundation and JioBLAST announced the opening of registration for India Rising. The event is a qualification path to the Esports World Cup 2026.

India Rising will feature nationwide online qualifiers and will follow with an offline final in Mumbai. Titled Indian players have the opportunity to directly enter the closed qualifier stage. The total prize pool of the event is 4,500,000 Indian Rupee (~$47,200). Exact dates for the qualifiers and the final will be announced later.

JioBLAST is a joint venture launched in October 2025 between Indian companies Reliance Jio and RISE Worldwide Limited, and international esports organizer BLAST. India Rising is India’s first official pathway to the Esports World Cup.

The Esports World Cup is a premier annual international gaming tournament and festival held in Riyadh. The 2026 edition of the tournament will run from August 11-15 and will feature a $1,500,000 prize fund.
