The event featured Tyler1, Hafu Go, Myth, Morgan Jay, and others. Magnus won all 10 games. Carlsen commented on his victory at the event, and highlighted his game against League of Legends player Pobelter:

Magnus Carlsen has played for the esports Team Liquid since February 2025. Carlsen took part in the exhibition before the Esports World Cup 2026. Magnus won the 2025 Esports World Cup as a member of Team Liquid.
