The Niemann vs. Giri match will take place online on July 12th. The match will feature 18 games with a 3+2 time control. The winning bounty for Anish will be $10,000. The match will be broadcast on Endgame.Ai, and on Hans’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The exact time of the match will be announced later.

Over his career, Hans Niemann has played 4 one-on-one matches against Anish Giri. Anish defeated Niemann 3 times, and Hans won once in 2024. In 2026, Hans played 2 one-on-one matches. He defeated Awonder Liang in April, and drew with Ian Nepomniachtchi in late May.
