The ChessBase India YouTube channel reached a milestone of 3 million subscribers on July 26. ChessBase India is currently the World’s No. 3 chess channel on YouTube.

The ChessBase India channel was created in 2015. Over the course of nearly 11 years, the channel has posted over 19,000 videos. In total, their videos have garnered over 3.5 billion views.

Chess players from India have generated over 2.3 billion views. Viewers from the United States, Indonesia, and Germany have generated approximately 189, 79, and 57 million views, respectively. The channel’s most active age group is 18 to 24 years old.

ChessBase India is a media outlet founded in 2015 by IM Sagar Shah and his wife, Amruta Mokal. It functions as a central hub for the national chess community. ChessBase India acts as the official distributor for ChessBase products in India and neighboring regions. They run initiatives like the ChessBase India Foundation to financially assist young talent across the nation.
