TePe Sigeman & Co organizers announced the list of 8 players who will participate in the 2026 tournament. 14-year-old Turkish GM Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus participates in the event for the second time.

The event features a 90+30 time control for the first 40 moves and 30+30 for the rest of the game over one Round-Robin between 8 players. In case of ties for first place, winner will be determined by Tiebreaks.

The TePe Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament is an annual, prestigious international chess event held in Malmo and known as Sweden’s strongest tournament and sponsored by dental company TePe and law firm Sigeman & Co. This tournament follows the 2025 edition held in Malmo. Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus finished second at the 2025 TePe Sigeman & Co by scoring 4 points.
