The second day of the FIDE Women’s World Rapid Championship in Doha has concluded. After four rounds, two players share the lead with 6.5 points each, with Zhu Jiner leading on tiebreaks.

The current standings are:

2. GM Humpy Koneru – 6.5 points (TB: 36)

3. GM Aleksandra Goryachkina – 6 points (TB: 39)

4. GM Nino Batsiashvili – 6 points (TB: 39)

5. GM Lei Tingjie – 6 points (TB: 37)

The FIDE World Rapid Championship 2025 takes place in Doha, Qatar from December 26 to 28. The event features a €500,000 prize pool, with the Open and Women’s tournaments using a 15+10 time control over 13 and 11 rounds respectively.
