The 13th day of the FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament 2026 in Cyprus has concluded. After 13 rounds, two players share the lead with 7.5 points each, with Bibisara Assaubayeva leading on tiebreaks.

🇰🇿 Bibisara Assaubayeva defeated 🇺🇦 Anna Muzychuk in 44 moves and took the lead. Bibisara played the game with 93.0 accuracy, while Muzychuk’s was 84.2.

Six of the eight players have a chance to win the tournament in the final round on April 15.

The FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament 2026 takes place from March 28 to April 16, at the Cap St Georges Hotel and Resort in Pegeia, Cyprus. The event features a 90+0 time control for the first 40 moves and 30+30 for the rest of the game over double Round-Robin between 8 players.
