Wadim Rosenstein announced the creation of his second team for the 2026 FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Team Championship in Hong Kong. The team is named Chess United.

Rosenstein stated in his X account that the goal of the new team is to bring together players from different continents, generations, and backgrounds. Five participants have been revealed at the time of publication, with the remaining players to be announced later this spring.

FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Team Championship is an annual team tournament, organized by FIDE in collaboration with WR Logistics GmbH. The 2026 edition will be held in Hong Kong, from June 17 to 21.
