GM Vincent Keymer and StarCraft 2 professional player Trigger will cast a crossover chess tournament on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 1pm ET. The event brings together StarCraft 2 Esports World Cup 2025 champions Serral and Clem to compete in chess, organized by BASILISK and The Planetary Society.

8 StarCraft 2 professionals will compete: Serral, Clem, goblin, NightPhoenix, ShoWTimE, uThermal(1900+ Chess.com), Astrea, and Percival. The tournament brings together players with varying chess skill level. The event streams on twitch.tv/trigger_zc and is sponsored by The Planetary Society and IQIM (Institute for Quantum Information and Matter).
