“Abdusattorov and Sindarov are the fastest-developing young chess players in the world. They have not only gained potential but also stability. Put them on the first two boards and they will strengthen any team in the world.

Even when talking about the match for the World Championship title. If we speak about Sindarov, his chances of beating Gukesh are so good that, to avoid bad luck, I don’t want to name percentages.”

Uzbek GMs Nodirbek Abdusattorov (2771) and Javokhir Sindarov (2745) are Uzbekistan’s No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. Abdusattorov won three A-Tier tournaments in a row: London Chess Classic Elite 2025, Tata Steel Masters 2026, and Prague Chess Masters 2026. Sindarov won the FIDE World Cup 2025 and qualified for the FIDE Candidates Tournament 2026.
