This week, Susan Polgar held a 50-board simultaneous exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Polgar defeated all opponents and won the simul with a score of 50-0.
The event was organized to commemorate Marcel Duchamp’s birthday. 50 VIPs from the art world were invited to the simul. Participants included contemporary artists Ai Weiwei, Marcel Dzama, Donna Dodson, and others.
Marcel Duchamp was a famous French-American artist. Duchamp was known for inventing ‘readymades’, ordinary objects that an artist modifies and designates as art. Marcel’s 139th birthday was commemorated on July 28th.
