The second match of the Speed Chess Championship Semifinals 2026 in London has concluded. After 28 games, Alireza Firouzja scored 11 wins and 8 draws, defeating Hikaru Nakamura with a score of 15-13.

With this victory Alireza Firouzja advances to the Finals of the tournament and will face Magnus Carlsen on February 8. Hikaru Nakamura will play Denis Lazavik in the Consolation bracket to determine the third-place winner.
