Javokhir Sindarov shared his goals for his chess career in an interview with Hindustan Times. Sindarov says he is currently trying to stabilize his rating above 2750. Javokhir notes that he wants to become the best chess player in the world in the future.

I’m trying to stabilize my rating above 2750 and stay in the top 10. My goal is to become a 2800 player.
Of course, the upcoming match is very important right now, but in general, I want to be the best chess player in the world.”
Javokhir Sindarov is World’s No. 4 with a rating of 2777. Javokhir won the FIDE Candidates Tournament 2026 in April and will play in the World Championship Match 2026. The match will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from November 25 to December 15.
