“Javokhir and Nodirbek are their two big scorers. When we were tied, I thought at some point, it makes sense to just throw the first two boards and then try to beat the lower boards.

But I think the real turning point of the match was Fabiano’s win against Yakubboev. If he had lost that, we would have been in big trouble.”
