WR Chess CEO Wadim Rosenstein announced that the European part of the Women’s Chess Tour 2026 will take place in Saint-Tropez, France. The event will run from August 25-26.

The event will take place at the historic winery Le Vignoble Torpez. Lichess.org will broadcast the event and organize online qualifications. The tournament will be sponsored by 10+ French companies including L’Oreal Paris, Air France, Hermes and others.

The WR Chess Women’s Tour 2026 will take place across 5 locations, including Asia, Americas, Africa and Europe, from June 5 to the end of 2026. All participants will receive accommodation and travel expenses. The total prize fund across the tour is $200,000.
