Turkey's No. 1

“2900 is very tough. Magnus is the greatest in history, and he couldn’t reach 2900. I can do that, but it’s going to be very tough.

I’m not feeling the pressure now because it’s early. First, I have to reach 2750, and I have other goals. But 2900 is very tough.

I will give my best. I hope it can happen.”

Magnus Carlsen holds the highest FIDE ratings across Classical, Rapid, and Blitz in chess history. He achieved ratings of 2882, 2919, and 2986 respectively. 15-year-old Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus is World’s No. 26 with a rating of 2716. Erdogmus became the youngest player to achieve a rating of 2700+ in history, at the age of 14 years and 10 months old.
