Uzbek GM“Hi, X!
Sorry to not speak about chess today, but I have an emergency problem I would need some help from any Steam or Steam Support employee regarding my Counter-Strike 2 account.
Please mention anyone I could contact to discuss this matter, thank you!”
Counter-Strike 2 is a team-based first-person shooter available on the Steam game launcher. The game features a trading system for in-game cosmetic skins, which have real-world value on third-party marketplaces.
Steam accounts with expensive items often become targets for scammers. If access to an account is lost, the owner can restore it via email. After restoring the account, the user can cancel all trades made in the last seven days and return the stolen skins.
Uzbek GM Javokhir Sindarov said in an interview that he plays Counter-Strike 2 in his free time. The shooter and Chess are both part of the Esports World Cup 2026, which takes place in Paris, France from July 6 to August 23. Sindarov is not currently qualified for the Chess event.
