Co-Founder of Chessable and American IM John Bartholomew shared his opinion on Levy Rozman’s prospects of becoming a Grandmaster. John points to Levy’s workload from content creation and running businesses and emphasizes the need to focus on studying.

“I don’t think Levy will make GM doing what he currently does. I think he’s capable, but I just kind of sense from his current approach.

He’s still obviously very much engaged in content creation, and probably the four or five other businesses that he’s running… I just think that’s way too much, if he wants to make a serious push for GM. I think he’d probably have to cut 90% of what he’s doing at minimum.

I was on a podcast with Levy, and I was encouraging him — if he wanted to make a go at GM to try to delegate even more than he currently does. He probably delegates a lot of his stuff, but I think he’d have to do even more, to extreme level, so he could focus on studying.

I don’t really see it happening otherwise. I think he could though.”
