American GM Hans Moke Niemann has announced the Sunday Showdown online blitz tournament on the Endgame.ai platform. The tournament is scheduled for March 29th at 3:00 PM UTC.

The first part of the event features an 11-round Swiss format with 3+2 time control. The Top-4 players advance to the Knockout stage. In case of a tie for first place, the winner will be determined via Armageddon. The total prize pool is $2,000, including:

  • 1st Place: $1,000
  • 2nd Place: $500
  • 3rd Place: $250
  • Women’s Best: $100
  • Most Viewed Stream: $50
  • Best Highlight: $50
  • Random: $50

Sunday Showdown on March 29 follows an identical event on March 22. At the time of publication, no tournaments are scheduled for the following Sundays in April, and the event has not been officially called weekly by organizers.

The Endgame.ai chess platform is associated with and promoted by American GM Hans Moke Niemann. The website first became accessible in June 2025. Endgame.ai is in open beta testing with registration available. The platform offers Rapid, Blitz, and Bullet formats, puzzles, and an analysis board.
