Last time Anish Giri and Hexamind Chess Team finished second in the Rapid championship and third in the Blitz championship at the 2025 FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Team Championships in London. In the Blitz semifinals, Giri defeated Pentala Harikrishna in a decisive endgame to help eliminate the Rapid winners MGD1 with a 4:2 victory, securing Hexamind’s bronze medal finish.
