Fabiano Caruana’s Alpine SG Pipers won the Global Chess League, defeating Alireza Firouzja’s Triveni Continental Kings in the final. The final was played in a Best-of-2 single elimination format, with Alpine SG Pipers winning 2-0. In the third-place match Gukesh Dommaraju’s PBG Alaskan Knights won Viswanathan Anand’s Ganges Grandmasters 6-2.
