Dutch GM Benjamin Bok reported that esports organization ZEDI Esports closed on July 16th. Benjamin was signed to the team 13 days earlier, on July 3.

ZEDI Esports cited an ongoing dispute between investors and the owner as the reason for the organization’s closure. ZEDI noted that the dispute has led to differences in vision and control of the organization.

Benjamin Bok was set to play for ZEDI at the Esports World Cup 2026. He announced on his X that he is open to offers to sign with a new organization. EWC starts on August 11, and Benjamin has less than a month to find himself a new team.

ZEDI Esports was an Indian gaming organization, created in 2021. The organization was owned by private Indian investors. ZEDI were known for their rosters in Apex Legends, Tekken 8, and Chess.
