14-year-old Turkish GM Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus lost his game with Magnus Carlsen in the final round of TePe Sigeman & Co 2026. The Evaluation Bar showed balance throughout the game, and Yagiz made a blunder on move 50.
Erdogmus and Magnus were sharing second place, one point behind leader Arjun Erigaisi. Carlsen tied with Erigaisi, and they will play Tiebreaks to determine the tournament winner.

The TePe Sigeman & Co 2026 takes place from May 1 to 7, in Malmo, Sweden. The event features a 90+0 time control for the first 40 moves and 30+30 for the rest of the game over one Round-Robin between 8 players.
