FIDE announced the roster for the Dragon Chilling team at the FIDE World Team Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2026. The team includes 10 players from China, including 8 GMs and 2 non-titled players.

Former World Champion Ding Liren participates in the FIDE World Team Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships for the second time. Ding played for the Decade China Team, a second-place finisher in the 2024 event.

The FIDE World Rapid & Blitz Team Championships is an annual team event organized by FIDE in collaboration with WR Logistics GmbH. The event features a hybrid format, the Rapid tournament with a 12-round Swiss system, and the Blitz tournament with one group Round-Robin followed by a knockout stage. Prize fund distribution totals $500,000 across both events.
