The Sharjah Masters 2026 will take place at the Sharjah Cultural & Chess Club, UAE, from April 30 to May 10. Chess training cloud platform Chessify sponsors the event for the first time.

The event features a 90+30 time control over 9 rounds in Swiss System. In case of ties for first place, the winner will be determined by Tiebreaks. The combined prize pool for the festival is $90,000. The event includes three tournaments:

• Masters A (2500+)
• Masters B (1900+)
• Masters C (1400–1899)

For the first time in collaboration with Sharjah Masters, Chessify will distribute 1,000,000 coins during the event. Chessify Coins can be used for cloud engine analysis, premium engines, and advanced preparation tools.

The Sharjah Masters is an annual, prestigious international chess event in the UAE and is known as one of the strongest Open tournaments in the world. This event follows the 2025 edition, where Anish Giri won Group A with 7 points and a half-point advantage.
