“Javokhir Sindarov is not married yet… although they say it’s heading that way.

And even something might happen right in Cyprus, who knows…”

Uzbek GM Javokhir Sindarov (2745) is widely reported on social media to be in a relationship with Kazakh GM Bibisara Assaubayeva (2516). Sindarov and Assaubayeva are participating in the 2026 FIDE Candidates Tournament, in the Open and Women’s sections, respectively. The event takes place from March 28 to April 16, at the Cap St. Georges Hotel and Resort in Pegeia, Cyprus.
