The second and final day of the European part of the WR Chess Women’s Tour 2026 in France has concluded. Bibisara Assaubayeva won the Rapid part of the event and Anna Muzychuk won the Blitz part.
Bibisara Assaubayeva defeated
Mariya Muzychuk with a score of 2-0 in the Rapid final. Mariya’s sister,
Anna Muzychuk, defeated Assaubayeva with a score of 2.5-1.5 in the Blitz final. Bibisara and Anna qualified for the Grand Final of the tour.

The WR Chess Women’s Tour 2026 takes place across 5 locations, including Asia, Americas, Africa and Europe. The European part of the tour took place from August 25 to 26 in Saint-Tropez, France. The Grand Final will take place from November 22 to 23 at the Rosenstein Palace in Stuttgart, Germany.
