The playoffs are scheduled for December 23, where Gukesh Dommaraju’s PBG Alaskan Knights will face Viswanathan Anand’s Ganges Grandmasters in the match for the third place, and Alireza Firouzja’s Triveni Continental Kings will meet Fabiano Caruana’s Alpine SG Pipers in the grand finals. A victory for Triveni Continental Kings would mark their third consecutive GCL title.
