The third and final day of the FIDE Women’s World Rapid Championship in Doha has concluded. After 11 rounds, Aleksandra Goryachkina scored 6 wins and 3 draws, and then scored 1.5/2 points in a tiebreak against Zhu Jiner to win the tournament. Throughout the tournament, Aleksandra did not lose a single game.

The FIDE World Rapid Championship 2025 takes place in Doha, Qatar from December 26 to 28. The event features a €500,000 prize pool, with the Open and Women’s tournaments using a 15+10 time control over 13 and 11 rounds respectively.
